Patrick Swayze - Our Neighbor

                          I have always loved Patrick Swayze - I first met Patrick and

                            his lovely wife “Lisa” at an Hollywood Star “Arabian Horse

                           Benefit “  - Patrick & Lisa were so nice to my daughter and

                            I - Actress Heather H - we bonded immediately- because

                            my daughter - has had horses since the age of 5 - and

                            Trains horses when she is not on a set-

                               We lived in the same area as Patrick & Lisa in Southern

                            California - and one afternoon - when I was cleaning out

                             horse stalls -  Patrick & Lisa and brother Don - were

                             riding their horses by our ranch. Patrick stopped his

                             horse - and said “I know you” - and we all talked for

                              a while -  they were all wearing their “North & South”

                               jackets that morning - ( my girlfriend ) was the Casting

                               Director on that film.

                               About a year later - I saw them riding again - Patrick

                                asked me if I was “From Texas” and I told me - my

                               Dad was -  he told me  -  I reminded him of his Mom-

                               what a compliment-

                               Years later - I got to meet his incredible mother -

                                  Patsy Swayze - and my prayers go out to her and

                                her family.

                                One of the Hollywood Agencies I worked at represented

                                  Don Swayze - Patricks great brother- I loved working

                                 with Don.

                                  My daughters publicist in Hollywood- called us yesterday

                                   and reminded us of how much Patrick liked our family.

                                      Heather reminded Patrick of a young Lisa -

                                  I am sure Patrick is riding one of his beloved Arabian

                                    Horses in Heaven -   carollyn de vore

                                   My husband stills teases me - he says the only time I

                                    cleaned out horse stalls - is when Patrick was out

                                     riding (  p.s.  he’s right)
