Cesar Chavez Documentary Film May 16, 2008
Filming from Fresno to Delano in the south were over 60 actors from
De Vore Talent & Studios. 80 percent of the cast were from our incredible
Hispanic Division started by Carollyn De Vore years ago when she opened
De Vore Studios in the Central Valley.
This film is about the ‘Grape Strike” in the Central Valley in the late
60’s - the wardrobe was incredible - and our actors got to film with
numerous real farm workers here in the Central Valley - a positive and
fun experience for everyone. Actors from Modesto - to Visalia were on
set - with lots of water & gatorade in the heat - and great food on the
set. Carollyn was on set everyday coordinating our actors . This
film is produced by an Academy Award & Emmy Award Director and
will be shown in Schools and will also be on Television - probably
the History Channel. Actors will be invited to a Hollywood Premire
of this film.
